Since China rejected 24 types of foreign garbage in 2018 , the import volume of foreign garbage in China has dropped by 99.1%. Many western countries have” burst their warehouses”,while Southeast Asian countries have become the preferred place for “foreign garbage”.

--Taiwan:50,685 tons

Uk exported waste plastic 429,711 tons in 2018 , mainly flow to:

--Malaysia: 102,088 tons

--Turkey:80,247 tons

--Indonesia:71,929 tons

--Taiwan:50,044 tons

--The Netherlands:49,415 tons

--Hongkong:39,784 tons

--Poland:36,204 tons

Malaysia imports the largest amount of plastic waste from the United States, the United Kingdom and other "foreign waste" sources. Therefore, the federal government of Malaysia has to shut down 140 factories involved in the import and treatment of illegal imported waste, and require the State Environmental bureaus to set up special agents to continue to crack down on the "foreign waste" and illegal factories in the state.

The Philippines is also deeply disturbed by it. Some time ago, the president even declared war on Canada and was unwilling to accept Canada's garbage.

Thailand side, America exported half of plastics to Thailand , total volume is beyond 100,000 tons , is the twenty times of 2017 whole year. After that, Thailand announced that it would stop importing 432 types of e-waste within six months.

Vietnam side , according to statistics from “ Greenpeace” , the amount of waste plastics from UK to Vietnam is increasing 51%. Actually , the quota of recycling companies in Southeast Asia is limited.Many importers have accepted a large number of orders without realizing these restrictions , resulting in a large number of waste products being put on hold in these countries for licenses.

Due to the lack of treatment capacity and the damage to the ecological environment caused by the influx of garbage,these countries are now considering banning the recycling, because they are also facing the problem of overload.

All countries in the world need to start from themselves and solve problems on their own.According to the data of the United Nations Environment Programme , more than 60 countries have restricted the use of disposable plastic products.With Europe and the United States as the centre, actions are speed up.

In fact, to solve the current difficult position, it's not the problem of recycling. If you want a clean ecological environment, you have to learn how to recycle and dispose the garbage more scientifically, or start to reduce the garbage from the source.
